After you connect your iPhone to iTunes there is a swanky little bar graph at the bottom of the window that shows the current disk usage like this:
If you click the bar once you now see this:
Click it a third time and you see this:

Too bad I don’t have an iPhone (goddamn lack of AT&T in Alaska )-:
